Senior Journalist Manasi Khursheed launches online portal Teennews1

Senior Journalist Manasi Khursheed has launched online news portal Teennews1 which brings out news related to the fashion and entertainment industry. The website is targeting advertisers from all sectors such as FMCG, Automobile, Education, and Apparel.

Teennews 1 broadcasts news related to teens and youth and provides latest trends, fashion and curtain raisers from the entertainment industry.

Talking about the objective behind launching the site, Founding Editor, Manasi Khursheed said, “Teen is dedicated to teens and youth. The main objective behind this concept is to educate the youth in matters of relationships, career, fashion, environment and communal harmony. Society used to exclude the youth from all major information and decisions but now the time has come to address them directly because they are the dominating population of our country. Teens and youth were being distracted by unhealthy content because they were not being served the right content in an interesting way. is trying to bridge this gap.”


Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
