Sage India brings comprehensive solution for ad sales professionals in media

Firsteservice India has introduced a comprehensive solution for advertising sales professionals in TV channels, newspapers and magazines. Developed on the Sage CRM SalesLogix platform, the solution is available as a plug and play module. It can also be configured or customised further to address any unique requirements that a media company may have.

Thomas Abraham, Managing Director, Sage India, said, “Our aim is to target the fast growing segment of media companies with this unique offering in sales force automation. Advertising sales teams can now extend the standard functionality of Sage CRM SalesLogix to the specific needs that exist among media companies.”

He further said, “We are constantly evaluating vertical solutions of relevance to the Indian market as a way of accelerating market penetration in the sales force automation and CRM space. We will continue to launch more vertical offerings to maintain our leadership position in the CRM space.”

The solution helps in providing customer profiling where the client can have a central repository of all their customers, prospects, agencies, media buying houses and their key contacts. It helps in establishing a relationship of brands and the relevant agencies, which further ensures effective management of two-way selling process.

Further, it helps in media budget planning by establishing budgets available across different media and competitors thereby, making it easy to position the client’s offering effectively. One can also manage the rate card.

Other benefits include automating the proposal generation process at click of a button, sales target management, provides effective information on deals, enables to track business done against commitments made and helps in managing reports on revenues generated by sales person, activity reports for sales team, business forecast by sales person and budget achievements.

Sage Group is a leading international supplier of accounting and business management software solutions and related products and services for small to medium-sized enterprises. Formed in 1981, Sage was floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1989.

Commenting on the Sage CRM SalesLogix for Media offering, Amandeep Singh, Director, FirsteService said, “We have been researching this segment for a while now and have built up significant domain expertise. We will be making this add-on solution available on per user as well as on a turnkey basis. This solution is available currently on client server architecture with remote access facility. However, similar solution can be replicated in a web environment.”

He also informed that they had built up a significant consulting and implementation team that could handle projects across the country. Talks were on with a number of media companies for implementing this solution.
