Reliance Communications (RCOM) has reported a 3.2 per cent drop in its fourth quarter net at Rs 1,454 crore, as compared to a net profit of Rs 1,503 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal.

Revenues for the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2009 stood at Rs 6,124 crore, a jump of 15.3 per cent, as compared to Rs 5,311 crore in Q4 FY08.

RCOM also added over 11.3 million wireless subscribers during the fourth quarter, an increase of 110 per cent compared to the previous quarter, following the expansion of its GSM services to cover the entire country.

RCOM has also recently rolled out its fastest Internet service, ‘Broadband Plus’, with a downlink speed of up to 3.1 Mbps, which, it claims, is 30 per cent faster than any other wireless broadband offering.
