Ravi Vora has resigned as CEO of Strategic Brands at Flipkart, a company spokesperson confirmed the news to exchange4media.
Prior to taking over as CEO - Strategic Brands Group in January this year, Vora was SVP, Marketing, Flipkart between April 2012 and December 2014.
Vora has been instrumental in building the Flipkart brand over last four years. He set up the marketing team with experts across domains of Brand marketing, Mobile, SEM, SEO, Social media, Email and Affiliate marketing. The team helped Flipkart reach a topline of $3B, a customer base of 30 million and a daily traffic of 10 million (Jan'15).
An alumnus of IIM Bangalore and BITS Pilani, Vora has worked at Hindustan Unilever on brands like Brooke Bond, Annapurna and Kissan.
