RAPA Awards to be held in April

Radio and TV Advertising Practitioners' Association of India is gearing up for the RAPA Awards -2004 to be held in April for excellence in radio and television. RAPA council President Brij Mittle said, "The awards function for the year 2004 will be held in April 2005 for which entry forms have already been dispatched. The last date for the entry is February 15."

RAPA Awards are given for 55 categories in 17 Indian languages for excellence in radio, television and TV advertising, besides RAPA special jury award. The categories for which the awards are being given include, programming, public service advertising, radio jockeying. Within television advertising, the categories include excellence in advertising, film, TV, jingle script, TV spot script and camera work. Children's serials, comedy, film-based programme, game show and mythological show are the other categories where the entries are expected.
