Rajul Kulshreshtha decides to stay back at GroupM

Rajul Kulshreshtha, General Manager, GroupM, Team LG, has decided not to take up the Dentsu offer after all. Kulshreshtha was slated to join Dentsu Communication as Vice-president, Media, this month to oversee the entire media operations of the agency in Delhi and Bangalore. However, GroupM has succeeded in retaining their Team LG head.

The development was confirmed by Ashutosh Srivastava, CEO, GroupM South Asia. “Rajul has decided not to move on but seek further career development opportunities within GroupM companies. He continues to oversee MEC's Team LG.”

Kulshreshtha took on the responsibility of Team LG in May 2004 and played a key role in building the operations. He has over 14 years of strategic media planning and buying experience in India, Indonesia and Singapore, and has worked earlier with major agencies such as Universal McCann and ZenithOptimedia, besides GroupM.
