Reliance Gaming has appointed Quasar Media to handle both creative and media duties for the online promotions of its recently launched gaming portal Zapak.com. Industry sources pegged the account size at Rs 15-20 crore.
Confirming the appointment, Rohit Sharma, Head, Reliance Gaming, said, “Initially, we were thinking of splitting the online account into separate creative and media agencies, but, subsequently, we decided to appoint a single agency.”
Sharma further informed that a complete 360-degree campaign would be launched for Zapak.com. “We will finalise the offline agencies within a week’s time. Our campaigns will unfold on December 1, 2006,” he said.
As already reported, Anil Ambani promoted Reliance Entertainment recently launched the casual gaming portal Zapak.com and will be adding action gaming and MMOGs to the website in course of time. It has earmarked an investment of $100 million in online gaming and gaming cafes over three years. “You will see new additions every month starting from December,” Sharma said.

We will do interactive media, search marketing, viral marketing and also create blogs for the portal.”
