Pradeep Kashyap elected new President of RMAI

Pradeep Kashyap, CEO, MART, has been elected President of Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI) for the year 2009-10 at the 4th AGM of the Association held in Delhi. He takes over from RV Rajan, Chairman, Anugrah Madison Advertising, the founder President of the Association who held the office for four years since its inception.

The other office bearers elected at the AGM included: Raj Kumar Jha of Ogilvy Activation as Vice President, Sanjay Kaul of Impact Communication as Secretary, and R Parthasarathy of Kripa Outdoor as Treasurer.

Those elected to the Executive Committee of RMAI include: RA Patankar of Sampark, Pradeep Lokhande of Rural Relations, Askari of Insight Communication, Sandip Bansal of Xpanse Asia, Sanjay Pragat of Vision Force, Atul Mandale of Maadhyam, and Rajat Iyer of Saarthak.

Said Kashyap, “Within a short period of four years, RMAI has established itself as a dynamic industry body, recognised both nationally and internationally as an Association doing commendable work in generating and disseminating new knowledge on rural marketing for the benefit of rural marketers.”

He was confident that with a younger team in place, the Association would reach greater heights, especially in the context of the ever growing importance of rural markets in India.
