NDTV Lumiere takes world cinema online with Jaman.com

World cinema will now be available at the click of a mouse. NDTV Lumiere, the entertainment initiative from NDTV Ltd, has joined hands with online entertainment portal Jaman.com to facilitate downloads of movies in its extensive acquisition list for $2 per download. The service is available in India and SAARC territories comprising Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Maldives.

Announcing the association with Jaman, Dhruvank Vaidya, Senior Vice President - New Ventures, NDTV Imagine, said, “This is another step taken by NDTV Lumiere to ensure that the best of world cinema is available to audiences. After the introduction of the theatrical release of films across Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata, this association with Jaman is another step in our journey to present these wonderful films to audiences not just in India but also across the SAARC region.”

Gaurav Dhillon, Founder and CEO, Jaman, said, “Jaman is very pleased to expand its library with this collection of excellent movies from NDTV Lumiere. Like NDTV Lumiere, Jaman is committed to bringing quality films to new audiences around the world, who discover, enjoy and share films with each other.”

Jaman is a company based in San Mateo, California, and is backed by luminaries in technology and media.
