NDTV Convergence’s New Media Congress to be held in Capital on May 8

NDTV Convergence is organising its first edition of the New Media Congress on May 8 in Delhi. Besides bringing together some of the best minds in the Internet and mobile domain under one roof, the Summit would highlight the opportunities, challenges and the road ahead for India in the digital world. and are the media partners for the summit.

The Summit panel would comprise eminent personalities like Azhar Rafee, EVP, Reuters Asia; Kim Reid, CEO-Mobile, MIH Nasper; Martha Béjar, Corporate Vice President, Communications Sector-Microsoft Corp; Ajit Balakrishnan, Chairman, Rediffusion DYR; Rajesh Sawhney, President, Reliance Entertainment; Jai Menon, Group CIO, Bharti Airtel; Lloyd Mathias Marketing Director, India & South West Asia, Motorola; Kevin Obi, Senior Vice President, Digital Assets, NBC Universal International; Pankaj Sethi President, VAS & Enterprise Market Planning, Tata Teleservices Ltd; and Rohit Sharma, Chief Operating Officer, Zapak Digital Entertainment.

The sessions would be chaired by Vir Sanghvi, Advisory Editorial Director, HT Media Ltd; Vikram Chandra, CEO, NDTV Networks; Sanjay Trehan, CEO, NDTV Convergence; and Anurag Batra, Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief, exchange4media.

With New Media set for explosive growth, it is a pertinent time to discuss the developments and opportunities available in this sector.

Panelists at the Summit would discuss the role of developing markets and worldwide view of industry trends, technology and its developments in the convergent world. The discussion would also analyse traditional media versus new media and the branding and marketing strategies that need to be developed to maintain customer loyalty.
