Making the impossible possible in 2010 – Robin Thomas

The year 2009 was eventful, be it FICCI Frames 2009, IPL Season 2 and all the controversies surrounding it and all the interesting developments in both FM radio and digital media industries. For me, as a reporter covering radio, digital and sports marketing beats, the year 2009 only helped me further grow in this space. Of course, the same year brought also brought a whole lot of challenges for me, but eventually they only helped me grow stronger, confident, and perhaps even wiser.

Now with the print media beat also in my kitty, a possible launch of FM Phase III, FICCI Frames 2010, IPL Season 3, 2010 will surely be yet another eventful year for the Indian media industry.

As a correspondent with, I look forward to 2010 with full confidence in achieving my targets, meeting all deadlines and challenges, and of course learning from my mistakes. Personally, I hope 2010 will be the best year of my life and I want see my career take new heights.

From the industry point of view, I wish 2010 sees the music royalty issue resolved, the FM Phase III rolled out, and that the Indian radio industry grows profitably, and many more brands begin to explore online and on mobile.

On the road ahead, I look forward to all the new challenges and the tasks ahead in 2010 knowing that nothing is impossible.
