K-Factor launches below-the-line agency K-Design

K-Factor has launched another new company K-Design, a below-the-line agency that makes posters, corporate films and brochures. Shivjeet Kullar is the promoter of K-Design, while Apurav Joshi has been roped in as Business Head to head the agency. Joshi’s last stint was as Business Manager at Bounce Design, where he spent two years.

Kullar said, “The reason that we launched K-Design was that when it comes to advertising, all global accounts are aligned. K-Factor was lacking in a below-the-line agency. Therefore, the idea of such an agency came along.”

On his role in K-Design, Joshi said, “I feel design is like a prism refracting various lights of creative excellence. Being the Business Head of K-Design, my role would be to bring in a new design perspective to brands in BTL communication.”

Joshi has had a decade-long association with the advertising industry. He has had professional stints at Contract and Euro RSCG. Besides advertising, he also spent a couple of years with Lladro, a luxury brand from Spain making porcelain figurines, as Communication Manager. Telstra Telecommunication, Hyatt Regency, Philips, Nasscom, NIIT, Unitech are few of the brands he has worked on.

Kullar said, “K-Design has done project-based work for Yamaha, furnishing store Muslin and Unitech. We did a corporate film for Unitech. We did internal communication package for Yamaha employees, which included logo, poster, brochure and flash presentation. We did a complete corporate design package for Muslin which included branding exercise from logo to some print ads.”

Kullar further explained that K-Design currently has four people in the unit and will expand to 12 in six months.
