Entries for the cover design contest of the 8th anniversary issue of IMPACT are now open. The theme for this year’s issue is ‘Age of personalisation’. It is based on the fact that consumers’ individual tastes and preferences are becoming more and more important in making key business decisions. Today consumers are invited to participate in brand-building and get personally involved with the brand.
Marketers too look to target consumers at every individual touch-point in their lives. Therefore, for the special anniversary issue, IMPACT will ask industry honchos to recount personal experiences and encourage them to tell a story about themselves or their brand.
The cover designs are expected to bring this theme to life as well as retain the essence of IMPACT – youthful, energetic and analytical. It should be a celebration of IMPACT’s 8th birthday.
Like last year, IMPACT has decided to invite entries from its readers of the creative industry to design the cover page of the anniversary issue. The cover creative can be uploaded either on the official website or sent on a CD by post. It should reach exchange4media’s Mumbai office by July 31, 2012.
There will be seven finalists and one grand prize winner who will get an iPad3. This year, winners of the contest will be decided based on a two-level process. Firstly, the entries will be shortlisted by exchange4media board. In the final round of judging, five stalwarts from the advertising, media and marketing industry will rank the shortlisted entries. The entry that will score maximum aggregated points will be adjudged the winner of the contest. Other six finalists will also win exciting prizes.
IMPACT’s 8th anniversary issue will hit stands in August this year. Besides the personal stories, the issue will have features and columns, photo features, a quiz, etc.
Last year, Chirayu Palande of Leo Burnett was the winner of the contest.
