Globsyn Technologies to launch entertainment and media school

Globsyn Technologies Ltd, which runs Technocampus - an IT finishing school – plans to launch the Globsyn Entertainment & Media Management School (GEMS). Slated to be operational in the next few months, GEMS will have on offer a two-year, full-time course in Post Graduate Diploma in Entertainment & Media Management.

Besides, there will be four part-time courses on subjects ranging from Television Editing & Advanced Computer Graphics & Animation, Programme on Media Management, Programme on Tele- vision Direction & Production and Programme on Television Camera Techniques. GEMS will look at the future of 19 to 27-year-olds and direct their minds towards a career in the media and entertainment industry.

Victor Banerjee, eminent film actor and Chairman of the GEMS Governing Council, said on the occasion that the film and entertainment industry would soon look for people with skills to manage the business.
