Ratish Nair, who was COO at Mediaturf till recently, has struck out on his own to set up Interactive Avenues, a digital marketing solution company. The company was set up on April 3, 2006. The key members of the new entity are also erstwhile members of Mediaturf, which also is an Internet marketing company.
Among the key members in Interactive Avenues’ Mumbai office are Shantanu Sirohi, Head of Strategic Planning, Sunil Miranda who is Vice-President, Buying & Planning, and Amardeep Singh as VP-Business Development. Miranda and Singh were VPs at Mediaturf, while Sirohi was AVP.
Anjali Hegde is Head of Strategic Planning in Delhi. She is also VP for the Northern region. She moves in from Indiatimes where she was General Manager.
The company opened its first branch in Mumbai. Subsequently, it has started its offices in New Delhi and Bangalore.
Sources said that the agency would have 20 people on board by the end of this month. The agency has won a few businesses, and some campaigns for some of its clients have started. Among the agency’s first clients is ESPN. Nair was not available for comments or further details.
