Following the huge success of Futuristix Media Communication Center’s (FMCC) previous workshop on Ad Sales, the institute is conducting yet another workshop on Media Operations on January 20 and 21.
This workshop is aimed at enhancing the skills of professionals in media operations / transactions in media planning / buying organisations, professionals in media transactions/operations/scheduling in implementation and scheduling departments in media organizations (TV channels, newspapers, radio, magazines, outdoor cinema, the Internet) and advertising agencies who handle or liaise with media operations.
Elaborating on the objective behind organizing the workshop, Sajal Mukherjee, Director, FMCC, said, “This is the first time that any institute is taking step towards media operations. Media Operations has become very skillful and technical job these days because of the proliferation and the expansion of media. Media Operations add value to the client’s business and have become quite complex these days. Professionals in media operations need to take care of that aspect so there is a great need for imparting training to them.”
The speakers for the workshop include the likes of Rajul Kulshreshtha, General Manager, GroupM, Team LG; CVL Srinivas, CEO, Maxus, Asia Pacific; Arun Sharma, Deputy General Manager, Airtel; Rajindra Srivastav, CEO, EDF; and Sreedhar Ramasubramaniam, Finance Director, GroupM.
FMCC started operations in August 2004 with the help and participation of advertising and media professionals. The institute also conducts customised training and Executive Development Programmes regularly for industry professionals, which is in line with its philosophy of imparting professional knowledge and skills.
