The FAB Awards, in its 10th year, has announced the launch of FAB ‘Futures’ Award for young creatives, which is supported by StockFood. This Award is targeted at all those in the communications business who are below the age of 30. The Award will be presented at The FAB Awards Dinner at The Hurlingham Club in May 2008 and will be presented to the Creative Individual or Creative Team (maximum two persons) responsible for the project.
The FAB ‘Futures’ will be judged by the main FAB Awards Jury during the normal Awards judging. There is no entry fee and all nominees can attend the Awards dinner free of cost.
Speaking on the sponsorship for the Award, Pete A Eising, President and CEO, StockFood, said, “The FAB Awards are long established at recognising creative excellence in the food and beverage industry. We are delighted to be sponsoring this new award that will provide an opportunity for young creatives to showcase their talents.”
Entrants can visit the FAB Awards website for details regarding registration and participation information. Using a code provided at the time of registration, entrants can download any one of the 10 images provided by StockFood. They could use up to two images to create either a press/poster ad or a packaging design.
Meanwhile, the FAB Awards has also announced that Contagious Magazine would sponsor the Integrated and Digital categories for the third year running. The TV categories are supported by AdForum and Press, Poster and Outdoor by AdBikes Media. Beam TV continues to be the Digital resource for entry submissions.
The FAB Awards are the only international creative awards programme in the world focussed solely on creative work done for food and drink brands, and last year had attracted nearly 3,500 pieces of work from over 62 countries, covering Integrated Campaigns, TV, Press, Poster and Outdoor, Packaging Design, Brand Identity, Retail Environment, Direct, Mobile, Viral, Digital, Online Campaigns, Sales Promotion, Collateral and POS, Advertainment and Advergames.
