The president of research agency, ORG-MARG, Ashok Das has put in his papers. Das served the research agency for over 14 years and was responsible for the media servicing and research activities and also for its international joint ventures.

He has, however, not taken decision yet on his future plan of action. According to sources, Das’s decision to walk out of ORG-MARG comes close on the heels of Dutch information service group VNU’s acquisition of ORG-MARG last year. Sources claim that after VNU merger Das was left with no role to play.

Das started his career with Exide Industries and subsequently joined IMRB. Soon after, he left IMRB to join ORG-MARG as manager and rose rapidly to become the president of the research agency.
