With temperatures soaring, the Rs 370 crore Amtrex Hitachi Appliances (AHA) has decided to take on a unique approach to literally take the cooling effect of its Hitachi Logicool i series to the customer’s doorstep, by launching its ‘mobile showrooms’ in Mumbai —the converted LVC virtually re-creates the comfort of a Logicool i cooled living room with Hitachi Airconditioners.
These airconditioned vans showcase a range of Hitachi airconditioners of various models like Logicool i, BigFlo and Microcool from 1.0 Tr to 1.5 TR Windows and Splits.
Parked at various key societies and locations, these Mobile AC Showrooms demonstrate the Airconditioners and give the people a walk through experience with ambient temeperature.
According to the company sources, the uniqueness of this Mobile AC Showrooms is that the customers will be able take a live experience of the HITACHI range of airconditoners. “It is a Showroom at the Customers door step at his Leisure time.”
Naishadh Parikh, Managing Director Amtrex Hitachi Appliances said, “Logicool i has been developed based on customer feedback & research - Advanced Kaimin, Ergonomic design of the remote control and personalized modes - are innovations based on actual insights from talking to customers. We decided to extend the experience by offering an opportunity to see, touch and feel the convenience of the product at their doorsteps in a closely simulated scenario. The two mobile showrooms will be traversing the length and breadth of the country.”
The 2 Mobile Showrooms will traverse through 48 cities all over India covering around 10,000 kms and almost 1.5 lakh prospective air conditioner buyers are expected to be targeted over the summer season from March till July 2002.
Last year, riding on the back of the success of Hitachi Logicool - developed after detailed customer research Amtrex Hitachi Appliances grew at 30 per cent in a sluggish market, pushing it to the No. 2 spot in the highly competitive Indian Room Airconditioner Industry.
