Amar Ujala MQ 2012: Team Genpact-Reckitt Benckiser wins Delhi round

Delhi played host to Amar Ujala MQ 2012 on June 20. In its fourth year, the Delhi regionals was won by the duo comprising Rohan Khanna and Tanmay Prusty of the Genpact-Reckitt Benckiser team. The winning team had a total score of 65 points.

Amar Ujala is the title sponsor of MQ – What’s your Media Quotient? this year.

Quiz masters for the Delhi regionals – Mohit Joshi, Managing Director, MPG India and Suresh Balakrishnan, CEO, Lintas Media Group – took charge of the evening’s proceedings and got the best out of the participants.

A total of six teams were selected for the final round. The Radio City and Mindshare teams gave some stiff competition to the winning pair, who held their ground.

Talking to exchange4media after the win, Rohan Khanna said, “We will try to watch more television and will keep ourselves updated as it will help us in the grand finale. Interestingly, Khanna was part of the winning team of the Delhi regionals media quiz last year. He was then with Accenture and had won in partnership with Kumar Vaibhav Tanwar of Godrej & Boyce.

Prusty added here, “Winning always makes one feel better and there is also a sense of relief as we were not expecting to win because there was some tough competition throughout the game.”

Quiz master Joshi found the event a great experience. He suggested that the quiz be held on weekends in order to attract more participants. On the participants this year, he said that they were good and talented.

Quiz master Balakrishnan, too, found the quiz interesting and exciting.

The next round of the Amar Ujala Media Quiz will be held in Kolkata on June 22, followed by Bangalore on June 27. The grand finale will be held in Mumbai on June 29.
