4P’s Business, Marketing and Advertising announces the Power 2009 winners

4P’s Business, Marketing and Advertising magazine announced the Power 2009 Awards at a ceremony held in Mumbai on April 8. The Power Awards acknowledge corporate leaders who have made a product into a brand. The winners were awarded across 23 categories for their achievements.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof Arindam Chaudhuri, Chairman & Editor-in-Chief, Planman Media, said, “The 4P’s business Marketing & Advertising Power Awards is a ceremony which has always provided great insight into the innovations in experimental marketing communication across the country. The power awards salute and glorify the efforts and contributions of corporate leaders, marketing and advertising gurus.”

The winners announced across the categories included: Lowe Lintas-Tata Tea Jaago Re (Best Public Service Campaign); O&M India (Best Creative Agency of the Year); Idea Cellular-Lowe Lintas (Best Ad Campaign in Electronic); SBI-Interpub Advertising (Best Ad Campaign in Print); Fortis Healthcare-Crayons Advertising & Marketing (Best Ad Campaign in Outdoor); Lodestar Universal (Best Media Campaign of the Year); Mindshare (Best Media Agency of the Year); Bharti Enterprises (Best Strategy); Tata Sky (Most Innovative Company); Kolkata Knight Riders (Best Marketing Strategy); Mercedes (Most Aspirational Brand); UB Group (God of Marketing); Reliance Industries (Most Admired Company); Colors (Best Launch); Kingfisher (Most Recalled Brand); Airtel (Best Trusted Brand and Most Influential Brand); IIFA (Best Event); LIC (Most Valuable Consumer Company); ‘Rock On’ (Best Marketer Film of the Year); and Aamir Khan-Tata Sky (Best Celebrity Endorsement).

Abhimanyu Ghosh, CEO, Planman Media, said, “These Awards are a platform to honour and felicitate the leaders who have with great determination and hard work created a product into a brand and changed the lives of Indian consumers.”

The nominations for the Power Awards were tracked down after an extensive research and analysis of the accomplishments of the corporate and advertising world. The event was organised by Planman Media in association with Zee Business and DNA, supported by LIC and SREI Equipment Finance. Big FM was the radio partner, while Laqshya was the outdoor partner.
