Thums Up offers `Mega Thunder' in AP

Coca-Cola India here on Friday kicked off the "Thums Up Mega Thunder" campaign marking the 25 years of Thums Up brand and celebrating 25 years of the movie career of the Telugu film actor, Chiranjeevi.

The campaign, based on the theme of "Mega Star Chiru, Guest Star Meeru", will run across Andhra Pradesh and will give one lucky consumer the chance to act in a film with Chiranjeevi.

During the promotion period, according to a Coca-Cola press release, Thums Up 200 ml and 300 ml bottles will carry special crowns, each having one of the five alphabets, " C, H, I, R, U", printed on the inside.

The consumers have to collect the set of alphabets and mail them to the company.

The first 1,000 winners will get two passes to a screening of a Chiranjeevi movie in Hyderabad, which will be attended by the actor.

Among the 1,000 winners, one entry will be picked up in a lucky draw. The winner gets the opportunity to act as "Guest Star" with Chiranjeevi.

The consumers can also pick up "Chiranjeevi action cards" as a part of the campaign from retailers of the soft drinks by exchanging any two alphabet crowns and paying Rs 3.

This consumer promotion will last till May 30, this year.
