Zee Network has announced the appointment of Bharat Ranga as the Business Head of Zee Cinema, Zee Music, Premier Cinema, Action Cinema & Classic Cinema.
Ranga joined Zee Telefilms in March1998. Initially, he was handling the sales and marketing of Zee Records. In 1999-2000 Bharat was instrumental in organizing Zee Cine Awards. During that time he also handled the Film and Music advertising exposure business for the entire network. In 2002 he took over the ad sales of Zee Cinema and Zee Music.
Ranga is a Postgraduate in Business Management from the University of Ajmer. Prior to joining Zee, he had worked with The Times of India and Usha International as Regional Sales Manager.
Meanwhile, Yogesh Radhakrishnan, erstwhile Business Head of Zee Cinema, maintained that he was very much within the helm of things, at the network. Said Radhakrishnan, “I will continue at Zee as Director (Special Projects) wherein I would oversee international assignments. Ranga’s appointment has been slated for a while now, and I am sure that he will do full justice to the job at hand.”
