JWT Chennai has bagged the account of software company, Pinnacle Info Solutions, in a multi-agency pitch. Pinnacle offers high-end software solutions with a focus on capital markets.
Mr M.L. Raghavan, Client Services Director, JWT, said that the agency would do a total branding exercise for the company, which would involve activities such as working on the company's logo to doing external and internal communication activities. "We would be looking at different communication touch points and will also get into mass-media as and when required," he said.
Mr Raghavan said that JWT's expertise in total branding and its experience in handling IT accounts such as SSI, Sify and Dishnet gave the agency an edge over its competitors to win the account.
He said that the Pinnacle account was a significant piece of business for JWT's Chennai's division, but refused to disclose the account size.
Apart from Pinnacle, JWT Chennai, has also clinched the account of Vivekananda Institute, which offers courses in spoken English, in a multi-agency pitch.
The agency will reportedly be involved in doing a complete communication campaign for the Vivekananda Institute to enable it to be identified as national brand, since it is shortly going to foray into the Northern markets also. The communication activities would include mass-media campaigns, direct marketing and other below-the-line activities.
The institute's first mass-media campaign is supposed to break in April this year.
