The first Hindi edition of The Pioneer hit newsstands in Lucknow on October 17. At a cover price of Rs 3, the newspaper will consist of 16 to 28 pages. The newspaper will carry predominantly coloured pages. Vijay Prakash Singh is the Resident Editor of Pioneer Hindi Lucknow.
The newspaper was launched with six editions in the state. These six editions included Lucknow, Kanpur, Allahabad, Varanasi, Gorakhpur and Bareilly. All of these editions will be printed in Lucknow and then further sent for the distribution. The newspaper will be available in 65 districts of Uttar Pradesh.
