BARC Wk 44: Motu Patlu movies get Nick to the top spot in kids genre

Four TV films of ‘Motu Patlu’ helped Nick to the top 5 Kids Channels with 123.8 million impressions, nearly 30% more than Disney Channel, according to BARC Week 44 (October 28-November 3).

These four shows include ‘Motu Patlu Kung Fu King Returns,’ ‘Motu Patlu in Dragons World,’ Motu Patlu in Double Trouble and ‘Motu Patlu The Invisible Plane’ which took the top, second, fourth and fifth spot in the Top 5 programs in this market with 0.9 million, 0.8 million, 0.75 million and 0.73 million impressions respectively.

Disney Channel took the second spot with 95.4 million impressions while Hungama came third with 89.9 million impressions. The latter’s TV movie ‘Shinchan in Action Kamen vs Higure’ fetched 0.76 million impressions making it to the third spot.

Pogo TV took the fourth spot with 80.7 million impressions and Cartoon Network took the fifth spot with 69.5 million impressions.
