RAM Ratings Wk 43:  Fever leads in Mumbai, Delhi; Radio City, Radio Mirchi reign B'lore and Kolkata respectively

Week 43 (October 22-28, 2017) of RAM Ratings saw the radio channel Fever dominating in Mumbai and Delhi while Radio City and Radio Mirchi took the lead positions in Bangalore and Kolkata respectively.

In the Mumbai Universe of 12.2 million listeners, Fever was at number one position capturing 17.4 per cent share, followed by Big FM and Radio City. Big FM climbed up by 1 per cent to 13.9 per cent taking the second spot. Radio City slipped to third spot with 13.6 per cent share by 0.2 per cent. Radio Mirchi also fell to the fourth spot by a per cent with 12.4 per cent share. Red FM retained its fifth spot with 10.9 per cent share. Early morning, followed by night and mid-morning time band, observed highest listenership on total radio.

In Delhi Universe of 16.5 million listeners, Fever continued to dominate with an improved 18.2 per cent share, followed by Radio Mirchi (12.5 per cent) and Radio City (11.8 per cent.) Radio City climbed to third spot with 11.8 per cent share. Radio Nasha climbed to fourth spot with 11.6 per cent share. AIR FM 2 Gold managed to hold on to its fifth spot with an improved 11.2 per cent. Night, followed by early morning and afternoon time band, got highest listenership on total radio.

In Bangalore Universe of 5.3 million listeners, Radio City continued to remain at the top with 25.5 per cent share, followed by Big FM (18.5 per cent) and Radio Mirchi (17.1 per cent.) The latter showed some improvement by 1.3 per cent. At fourth spot, Fever FM moved up to 14.5 per cent share. AIR FM1-Rainbow took the fifth spot with 6 per cent share. Evening, followed by afternoon and mid- morning time band, observed highest listenership on total radio.

In Kolkata Universe of 9.1 million listeners, Radio Mirchi continued to reign the top spot with 21.1 per cent share. It was followed by Big FM with 18.6 per cent share, up by 0.2 per cent from the previous count. Fever FM retained its third spot with 14.9 per cent share. Aamar FM also stayed on its fourth spot with 10.2 per cent share. Red FM maintained its fifth spot with 9.7 per cent share. Evening, followed by afternoon and morning time band, observed highest listenership on total radio.

The production house has already established itself as the leader in the non-scripted genres. However, Rege now wants Endemol to achieve the same in the original scripted zone and film production
