RAM Ratings Week 46: Big FM And Fever FM Maintain Lead Over Mumbai And Delhi

Week 46 (November 12-18, 2017) of RAM Ratings saw the radio channel Big FM and Fever FM dominating Mumbai and Delhi cities respectively. Meanwhile, Radio City and Radio Mirchi continued leading Bangalore and Kolkata respectively.

In the Mumbai Universe of 12.2 million listeners, Big FM was at the top spot with 14.5 per cent, followed by Radio Mirchi and Radio City. Radio Mirchi and Radio City had 13.6 per cent and 13.2 per cent share respectively. Both Fever FM and Red FM retained their fourth and fifth spot with 13.2 per cent and 11.4 per cent share respectively. Early morning, followed by morning and mid-morning time band, observed the highest listenership on the total radio.

Fever continued to dominate Delhi (consisting of 16.5 million listeners) with 17.8 per cent share despite suffering a decline of 1.7 per cent share. Radio Nasha climbed to the second spot with 12.3 per cent share while Radio Mirchi slipped to third spot with12.2 per cent. Both Radio City and Air FM 2 Gold retained their fourth and fifth spot with 11.9 per cent and 11.2 per cent share respectively. Evening, followed by afternoon and night time, observed the highest listenership.

In Bangalore universe of 5.3 million listeners, Radio City maintained its lead with 24.1 per cent share, followed by Big FM (18.3 per cent) and Radio Mirchi (16.6 per cent). Fever FM and AIR FM1-Rainbow retained their fourth and fifth spot with 14.7 per cent and 6 per cent share respectively. Afternoon, followed by mid-morning and evening time band, observed the highest listenership.

In Kolkata Universe of 9.1 million listeners, Radio Mirchi continued to reign with 21 per cent share. It was followed by Big FM with 17.5 per cent share, up by 0.3 per cent from the previous count. Fever FM retained its third spot with 16.1 per cent share. Aamar FM climbed to the fourth spot with 10.1 per cent share while Red FM slipped to the fifth spot with 9.7 per cent share. Afternoon, followed by evening and morning time band, observed highest listenership.
