Ram Ratings Week 3: Big FM and Fever lead Mumbai

The third week of 2018 of RAM Ratings witnessed Big FM and Fever leading Mumbai while the latter continued to dominate Delhi. Meanwhile, Radio City and Radio Mirchi ruled Bangalore and Kolkata respectively.

This week in the Mumbai Universe of 12.2 million listeners, Big FM and Fever FM shared the top spot with 15.1 per cent share followed by Radio Mirchi with 13.9 per cent share respectively. Radio City took the fourth spot with 13.1 per cent share while Red FM retained its fifth spot with 10.8 per cent share. Early morning followed by night and morning time band observed the highest listenership on the total radio.

Fever continued to dominate the Delhi market in a universe of 16.5 million listeners with 19.6 per cent share. Radio Nasha took the second spot with 11.8 held while Radio Mirchi came third with 11.6 per cent share. Radio City took the fourth spot with 11.5 per cent while AIR FM2 Gold held on to its fifth spot with 10.9 per cent of share. Evening followed by morning and mid-morning observed the highest listenership on the total radio.

In Bangalore, Radio City maintained its leadership position with 24.5 per cent share in the universe of 5.3 million listeners. Big FM, Radio Mirchi and Fever FM held on to its second, third and fourth spot with 18.6 per cent, 16.2 per cent and 14 per cent share. Red FM took the fifth spot with 6.2 per cent share. Here evening followed by night and mid- morning time band observed the highest listenership on the total radio.

Kolkata market was dominated by Radio Mirchi by 20.7 per cent followed by Fever FM and Big FM which got 17.2 per cent and 16.8 per cent share respectively. Amar FM and Red FM retained its fourth and fifth spots with 10.1 per cent and 9.6 per cent share. Morning followed by mid-morning and afternoon time band observes the highest listenership on the total radio.
