RAM Ratings: Fever takes top spot in Mumbai and Delhi for Week 38

For Week 38 (September 17-23, 2017) of RAM Ratings Fever took the top spot in Mumbai and Delhi while Radio City and Radio Mirchi took over Bangalore and Kolkata respectively. 

In the Mumbai Universe of 12.2 million listeners, Fever was at No. 1 position in terms of share 16.6 per cent, followed by Radio City and Big FM. Radio City saw 14 per cent share, down from 0.2 per cent share while Big FM got 13.5 per cent share. The latter picked up by 0.3 per cent from last week. Radio Mirchi took the fourth spot with 12.6 per cent share, a 0.2 per cent increase from last week. Red FM got the fifth spot with 10.4 per cent share, 1.2 per cent down from the previous week. Early morning followed by Mid Morning and Morning Time band observes the highest listenership on total Radio.

In Delhi Universe of 16.5 million listeners, Fever claimed the top spot with a share 18.8 per cent, followed by Radio Mirchi(12.6 per cent) and Radio Nasha(12.4 per cent). Radio Mirchi was stable this week while Radio Nasha slipped by 1.1 per cent from the previous week. Radio City which took the fourth spot, picked up by 0.9 per cent to 11.3 per cent share. Picking up by 1.5 per cent, AIR FM Gold took the fifth spot with 10.8 share. 

In this universe afternoon followed by evening and mid-morning time band observed the highest listenership on total radio. In Bangalore Universe of 5.3 million listeners Radio City was at the top spot with 24.7 per cent share, followed by Big FM(19.7 per cent) and Radio Mirchi (16.7 per cent). Big FM picked up by 0.8 per cent while Radio Mirchi share dropped by 0.2 per cent from previous week. At fourth spot, Fever FM got 13.5 per cent share but suffered a drop of 0.7 per cent. AIR FM Rainbow got the fifth spot with 6.3 share, up by 0.6 per cent from the previous week. Mid Morning followed by Evening and Afternoon time band observes the highest listenership on total radio.

In Kolkata universe of 9.1 million listeners, Radio Mirchi claimed the first spot garnering 21.9 per cent share. It was followed by Big FM with 18.8 per cent share, down from 0.6 per cent share from previous week. At the third spot, Fever FM moved up by 1.9 per cent fetching 12.1 per cent share. Aamar FM took the fourth spot with 10.5 per cent share, down by 0.3 per cent. Red FM fetched the fifth spot with 9.4 per cent, down by 1.2 per cent. Morning followed by Afternoon and Mid Morning time band observes the highest listenership on total radio.
