Rajeev Dubey appointed as Managing Editor, Business, India Today Group

Rajeev Dubey, currently the Managing Editor, Business Today, has been appointed as Managing Editor, Business, (TV & Digital), Aroon Purie, Chairman & Editor-in-Chief, The India Today Group informed the employees in an internal mail.

“Rajeev is expected to bring better insights and synergy in our business reporting and programming on our channels,” he stated.

Rajeev who will also be the Editor, businesstoday.in will report to Kallie Purie who was appointed as the vice chairperson of the group last month.

“I have long felt the need to strengthen our business expertise in digital and broadcast as the economy in always in the news. We need to relate these stories to our readers/viewers as they affect their lives,” Aroon Purie wrote in the mail.

Yesterday, Vivek Khanna was appointed as the Group CEO of the India Today Group (ITG) after the post was lying vacant since August when Ashish Bagga resigned for the post.
