ZIRCA strengthens executive team, hires Vienna Thompson as AVP – Sales for Southeast Asia and North Asia

ZIRCA Digital Solutions – the digital media and content solutions company recently appointed Vienna Thompson as Associate Vice President – Sales to lead their Content and Representation businesses in Southeast Asia and North Asia. Thompson will be operating from ZIRCA’s Singapore office and her primary role will be to expand the content solutions vertical in addition to adding to the core business of representation and demand management for marketers targeting India as a part of their key markets.

Thompson said, “I’m excited about joining ZIRCA during its growth phase. I am looking forward to contributing to the company’s growth in this market and applying my experience in implementing consistent sales processes.”

Thompson joins ZIRCA from Play Communications, where she had a long stint. In her lost role at Play Communications, as Regional Business Director, Vienna led the agency's APAC expansion and provided strategic and creative new-media solutions for Group M agencies and clients across the SEAO Region. Previously she was Account Director at Momentum Worldwide. Thompson brings experience managing high sales engagements, as well as the development and execution of go-to-market strategies.

ZIRCA set up the Singapore office in October 2015 as a part of their global expansion plan.

Karan Kumar Gupta, MD, ZIRCA Digital Solutions said, "Neena and I have been working exclusively on the strategic approach of expansion for about a year and Singapore is the first part of the execution. An acquisition is next on the cards. We will add two more offices in the region by the end of the year and later expand into Europe. We are currently working on a research-based project in the content space which will be announced soon. This tool will give brands an edge by seamlessly marrying technology with content,”

The production house has already established itself as the leader in the non-scripted genres. However, Rege now wants Endemol to achieve the same in the original scripted zone and film production
