Zee Action announces 'Travel safely by trains' initiative in Mumbai

Zee Action has launched an awareness-raising activity that addresses the safety of people using the wide network of railways in Mumbai. With a one-of-its-kind initiative being conducted in Mumbai for action lovers, the channel is imparting railway safety tips this monsoon in the Western railway trains of Mumbai during the month of July. A quirky way to reach out to lakhs of commuters, it is Zee Action’s way of promoting responsible action starting with Mumbai.

This rail safety campaign by Zee Action aims to raise awareness of travelling safely by trains, change attitudes, behaviour and improve public acceptance of rail safety measures. To ensure the messaging reaches to the very cosmopolitan Mumbaikars, the channel has curated various safety tips in Hindi as well as in Marathi which will be played through the in-built sound system of trains.

The messages include safety tips like ‘Foot over bridge chodkar, tracks paar kar ke, ya train ke upar safar kar ke, life ka risk mat lo. Agar action ka hai passion then tune-in to Zee Action!’ (Do not put your life in danger by not using footbridges, crossing the tracks, or travelling on the rooftop of tracks. If you’re passionate about action, tune-in to Zee Action), ‘Chalti train se utar ke, daud ke ya wrong side se train pakad ke, life ka risk mat lo. Agar action ka hai passion then tune-in to Zee Action!’ (Do not put your life in danger by disembarking a train in motion, catching a train by running or from the wrong side. If you’re passionate about action, tune-in to Zee Action). At regular intervals throughout the day, the prevention measure announcements will be played in local trains to ensure more than 8 lacks Mumbaikars reach their offices and home safely on a daily basis.

With this initiative that drives its viewers to channelize their passion for action by watching action blockbusters rather than risking their lives while commuting by trains, Zee Action will continue to entertain them with films like Gabbar Sher, Mumbai Tyson, Jala Dunga, Singh is Bliing, Gundaraj amongst many others.
