Wizcraft appoints Sandeep Mehta as COO and National Head - Brand Activation

Wizcraft International Entertainment has appointed Sandeep Mehta as the Chief Operating Officer and National Head – Brand Activation. He will lead the charge to effectively grow the organisation and ensure its continuing leadership position in the marketplace. Mehta’s added responsibility in the new role will see him focusing on strategies to expand the business portfolio, in addition to ensuring financial strength and operational efficiency of the organisation.

Speaking on behalf of co-founders, Andre Timmins and Viraf Sarkari, while commenting on the appointment, Sabbas Joseph, Founder-Director Wizcraft International Entertainment, said, "Wiz Sandeep Mehta has strengthened Wizcraft with his commitment and hard work. We believe his passion and uncompromising approach to deliver what the client needs, without sparing any effort has earned him kudos and the leadership role. Wiz Sandeep has grown through the ranks and worked in the trenches helping build strong client relationships and successfully inspired teams that can deliver success consistently. His intimate knowledge and extensive experience is what makes him uniquely qualified to lead Wizcraft’s brand activation business and reach greater heights.”

Mehta began his Wizcraft journey in 2003 when his key portfolio was to consolidate and build relationships. Over the years, he has held several key positions and portfolios ranging from Branch Head to Vice-president and business head for the North region, covering the duties of brand sponsorship sales, government engagement and corporate development as well as led Wizcraft’s foray into the sports business.

 “I would like to thank the entire Wizcraft family for their undying support. I am excited about the new role and it is a privilege and honour to lead the brand activation team of this leader-organisation. With continuous guidance from the directors and the support of my team, I am confident of continuing this great journey that Wizcraft is on,” commented Mehta on his new role.

This new senior-level appointment comes as Wizcraft announced its 29th Foundation Day earlier this year.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
