WATConsult strengthens its senior management team in Mumbai

WATConsult, a part of the Dentsu Aegis Network, has roped in four senior team members to lead its management team. Based out of Mumbai, the team will play a national role and overlook the growth strategy across India.

Kedar Mehendale joins WATConsult as AVP Strategic Initiatives wherein his role would be to build the Dentsu Aegis Network business for WATConsult. Mehendale has nearly 13 years of experience in Business Development, Brand Management and Key Account Management and has worked in the digital division of leading companies like Tribal DDB India, L&K Digital, Viacom 18 and Portico New York. Prior to WATConsult, he was with Trivone Digital Services for a short time.

Patavarayan (aka Ryan) Chettiar, who joins from Resultrix, a Publicis Groupe Company as AVP Media Programmatic has more than 18 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Strategizing and Consulting. Chettiar has worked with Musafir.com and Kingfisher Airlines in the past and he would ensure Media Delivery for existing clients and grow all-India Media and Programmatic business for WATConsult.

Abheek Biswas, a Research and Marketing professional, specializing in the Technology and Digital domains joins in from IMRB International. With nearly 6 years of experience in research based strategic consulting, Biswas comes on-board WATConsult as AVP Consumer Insights. In this role, he will be in-charge of all Consumer Insights and the Research division, through which he will drive custom and syndicated research and take forward all consulting initiatives.

Maheshwar Bhadane, a media professional with nearly 7 years of experience, has been roped in to WATConsult as the AVP Video Strategy. In this role, he will be in-charge of the Video Strategy division and drive the branded content video business focusing on building the best digital video production unit in the country. Bhadane joins in from The Glitch, a leading digital agency, wherein he conceptualised and strategized the Branded Content division.

 Commenting on the new appointments, Rajiv Dingra, Founder and CEO, WATConsult said, “We are very glad to have some of the leaders of the digital marketing space join us in our journey of growth. I welcome them all onboard and look forward to a collaborative growth with them.”
