Vikram Kaushik resigns from the Board of Colgate Palmolive India

Vikram Kaushik has resigned from the Board of Directors of Colgate Palmolive India. The company, in its notice to the BSE, said that Kaushik had resigned on January 5, 2004 as Whole Time Director and Director of the Company with effect from the close of business hours on December 31, 2003.

It further added that he has resigned to pursue opportunities outside the company. However, he will continue to be in the employment of the company until February 29, 2004.

Kaushik has 26 years of marketing experience with leading FMCG companies and the country’s top brands. Introduction of innovative and aggressive marketing techniques has been his forte. He joined Colgate-Palmolive India in 1999 and has focused his efforts on strengthening the company’s marketing initiatives and enhancing growth momentum.

Prior to joining Colgate Palmolive India, he was the Vice President-Marketing and Exports at Britannia Industries. He was among the key people behind Britannia’s success.
