VE Commercial Vehicles January sales up 13.6% to 3768 units

VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) has released its January 2016 sales report. According to the report, the company sold 3768 units in January 2016 as compared to 3317 units in January 2015 recording a growth of 13.6%.  This includes 3707 units of Eicher brand and 61 units of Volvo brand.

 Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded total sales of 3707 units in January 2016 as compared to 3262 units in January 2015, representing a growth of 13.6%. In the domestic CV market ( 5T and Above), Eicher Trucks and Buses  have recorded sales of 3415 units in January 2016 as compared to 2905 units in January 2015, representing a growth of 17.6%.

On the Exports front, Eicher Trucks and Buses have recorded sales of 292 units in January 2016 as compared to 357 units in January 2015. While Volvo trucks have recorded sales of 61 units in January 2016 as compared to 55 units in January 2015, representing a growth of 10.9%.
