UK’s Lornamead sets up India business; appoints Rohit Gothi as Country Director

The Lornamead Group, a UK-based manufacturer and marketer of personal care products, has established its dedicated India business, Lornamead Personal Care Pvt Ltd. The India operation, currently with offices in Mumbai and Chennai, will provide the platform from which Lornamead will market and distribute its range of global brands such as Yardley, Finesse, and Lypsyl to this growing market. Rohit Gothi, who has been appointed as Country Director, will head the Indian operations.

Gothi, who has specialist knowledge of the personal care business in India, will be responsible for all success of the company and will steer new Lornamead operations in India. He comes with 16 years of rich and diverse experience in sales, marketing, general management, commercial discipline and setting up new business. Gothi joins Lornamead from Marico, where he held key roles like Sales Head for Indian operations and Business Head for Kaya life, the recently launched new vertical of Kaya.
