Titan launches smartwatches in partnership with HP

Titan one of India ‘s  leading and the world’s fifth largest watchmaker launched its smartwatches category-- JUXT in partnership with global technology giant HP Inc.

This new launch aims at providing connectivity while staying true to the essence of classic watch making.

Speaking about the launch, Bhaskar Bhat – MD, Titan Limited said, “We are able to identify the opportunities and introduce products that leave a mark in the minds and hearts of our consumers. Today, as we take our first step into the world of smart watches, we once again place the consumer at the heart of our approach. Our offering is a classic timepiece with features that are useful and relevant.”

Titan JUXT houses relevant features that include: incoming call notifications, email and social media notifications (Whatsapp, Twitter, Linked In), calendar and appointment reminders, power reserve up to five days, automatic time zone adjustment, activity tracking with daily, weekly and monthly monitoring of fitness goals.

Elaborating on the association with Titan, Sridhar Solur – General Manager, Wearables and Smart Platforms, HP Inc. said, “The smartwatches segment is booming with innovation and at a time when product offerings are heavily infused with technology, there was an opportunity for Titan and HP Inc. to create a smartwatch that suited the taste of consumers who appreciate the quintessential leather watch with smart capabilities. JUXT keeps the wearer connected and alert, but does not intrude in his daily life.”
