Sudip Ghose elevated to VP Sales and Marketing at VIP; Dabur's Anirudh Pandharkar joins as CMO

Sudip Ghose has been elevated to Vice President Sales and Marketing at VIP Industries. He was earlier Vice President Marketing for the brand, and now spearheads both sales and marketing functions. Ghose had joined Samsonite South Asia in 2008 as the Group Director Marketing. He was responsible for all brand building and marketing initiatives including setting up the entire distribution channel for American Tourister and ensuring a healthy growth.

Ghose started his career as a client servicing executive at an advertising firm only to move on to work with Bausch + Lomb, Whirlpool India, Mirc Electronics and finally fulfilling the responsibilities as Marketing Head for Reliance Communications' PCO business. At Samsonite, he successfully managed two large brands: American Tourister and Samsonite. From identifying new markets and new products to establishing the entire distribution system for American Tourister including sales, Ghose joined VIP Industries as Vice President Marketing in October 2013. 

Anirudh Pandharkar will now be heading marketing at VIP. Pandhankar was formerly DGM Marketing at Dabur India. He was with Dabur for nearly a decade across various marketing roles, and also had stints with Zydus Cadila and Himalaya.
