SPAG appoints Julia Lai as Country Head, Singapore

SPAG Asia, the specialist communications firm for pharmaceutical, medical devices, healthcare and not-for-profit sectors, has announced the appointment of Julia Lai as Country Head, Singapore. She will be responsible for business development and operational capacity building. Lai brings with her close to 20 years’ of strategic communications experience, wherein she has held senior positions in several international PR agencies, such as H&K, Waggener Edstrom and Lewis PR.

Her background covers strategic and tactical communications along with crisis management at the country and regional levels. Lai has proven public sector experience and has worked across a broad range of industries covering consumer, healthcare, lifestyle, luxury, aviation, travel, beauty and FMCG.

Commenting on her new role at SPAG Asia said, Lai said, “SPAG has built an excellent client portfolio and has been recognized for its value proposition ‘Be Real’ that brings together creativity, research and measurable impact to every campaign. I am very excited about bringing the same value proposition to clients in Singapore and South East Asia.”
