Shoppers Stop has announced the appointment of Debasish Gupta as Customer Care Associate & Head – Marketing, Loyalty & Analytics, effective immediately. Debasish Gupta brings to the position a wealth of experience in consumer products, services and retail with a successful track record in marketing, sales, CRM and brand strategy. He will report to. Salil Nair, Customer Care Associate & CEO, Shoppers Stop Ltd.

As Head of Marketing, Loyalty & Analytics, Debasish Gupta will lead Shoppers Stop’s marketing strategies in line with the omni-channel strategy, expand and grow the First Citizen loyalty programme and create incremental revenue growth through big data & analytics initiatives.

Debasish Gupta previously served as Marketing Head at Marks & Spencer where he oversaw the company’s India growth story through customised marketing concepts, loyalty program management and digital marketing. Debasish has worked with conglomerates such as Godrej, Tata, Mahindra, Landmark and Marks & Spencer.
