Shefali Chhachhi bids adieu to Max Bupa

Shefali Chhachhi has moved on from her role as Maketing Director, Max Bupa India after a stint of three years. She joined Max Bupa – a Joint Venture between Max India and the UK-based Bupa Finance PLC – in February 2009 and played an instrumental role in the launch of the brand in India. Prior to Max Bupa she was Head of Marketing Activation, Nokia.

As per her status on a professional networking site, Chhacchi is on a sabbatical right now. Her stint at the company ended in April. Her next move could not be confirmed at the time of filing this report.

During her tenure Chhachhi led several marketing innovations at Max Bupa. The company was also awarded the Best Product Innovation Award for Heartbeat Family First at Indian Insurance Awards 2011.

A graduate of Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management studies, Bombay, Chhachhi began her career at Lintas as Account Manager in 1993. She then went on to the client side and joined PepsiCo as General Manager – Marketing. She then moved on to GSK to look after Horlicks. Her next stint was with Nokia as Head of Marketing Activation.
