Senior journalist Tania Ameer joins Aakhya Media

Senior Journalist Tania Ameer has joined Aakhya Media as Account Director. She will be in-charge of political clients which include Government of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. She will also take care of several corporate clients.

With a journalistic experience spanning over a decade, Ameer is well versed with the intricacies that go into the processing of news across a platitude of newsrooms. She has over 10 years of experience in print and television media, especially in political reportage.

In her last job, she was a Special Correspondent and a News Coordinator for the New Delhi Bureau of the Millennium Post newspaper. Her role at her previous job entailed managing the bureau and generating exclusive stories for the daily edition. In her previous engagements, she has worked with News X, DD News, The Magna Group (Society, Savvy, Stardust and other magazines) and Metro Now.

A graduate in English Honours, Ameer holds a Post graduate Diploma in Radio and TV Journalism from Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi.
