Sameer Gogate quits Eros, joins Vuclip

Sameer Gogate has left Eros to join Vuclip Inc. He was chief development officer at Eros International Media. Gogate will now be heading monetisation and distribution at Vuclip where he will be responsible for growing the Vu network with a key focus on content monetisation and also overlooking some key initiatives.

He was with Eros for nearly 2 years before resigning early this month. Gogate was previously the Business Head of films at Endemol India for nearly three years. He also worked at Viacom18, where he was overseeing the commercial function for the general entertainment channel Colors and also was with Viacom18 Motion Pictures where he handled Syndication and Acquisitions.

Gogate is an electronics engineer and also holds an MBA.
