Salora Retail Ventures Ltd, a division of the Salora Group, has announced the launch of its multi-brand digital retail outlets – Terminal. These digital electronic stores would specialise in consumer durables, IT, telecom, entertainment and healthcare products.
Salora has planned a pan-India rollout for Terminal with nine retail outlets in Delhi housing an array of leading brands in product categories such as LCD TVs, mobile phones, digital cameras, camcorders, laptops, home theaters, digital healthcare, etc.
GK Jiwarajka, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Salora Group, said, “The digital electronics category is throwing up exciting opportunities in the Indian market. The electronic market is estimated to reach $125 billion by 2015. With a very small percentage of this market being captured by organised retailers, we see a huge opportunity in this space in the years to come.”
He added, “We have seen the Green Revolution, we have seen the White Revolution, and now, we are on the verge of a ‘digital revolution’.”

He further said, “We currently have nine stores in the first phase. We will be expanding to 35 cities as we are planning to strengthen our national presence in the next five years.”
