Republic appoints Mindshare as media agency & Ogilvy as creative agency

With Arnab Goswami's new venture, Republic, heading closer to its launch date of May 6, a massive marketing campaign is in the works to promote its launch. To carry this out, Republic has appointed Mindshare as its media agency while Ogilvy has been hired as the creative agency.

The media start-up has also hired Laqshya Media as its OOH agency with a pan-India campaign encompassing 80 cities. So far, the OOH campaign has taken off in Chennai, Hyderabad, and Lucknow.

With Mindshare and Ogilvy on board, Republic is expected to launch its print and TV campaigns soon.

Kranti Gada joined the family business at Shemaroo in 2006 after a successful stint of over two years in marketing at Pepsi Co. She has been associated with the company for 12 years.
