She is also the author of ‘Customer in the Boardroom - crafting customer based business strategy’ and recently launched ‘A never-before world - tracking the evolution of Consumer India’. Bijapurkar is a powerful observer of changing social paradigms in post-liberalised India. Her acumen and prowess come across not only in the director’s role at blue chip companies, but also in her opinions and discernment of business and consumers related issues.

Bijapurkar is also chairperson of People Research on India's Consumer Economy a not for profit think tank, a member of the governing council of the Banking Codes and Standards Board of India, the Insurance Information Board , and the Eminent Persons Advisory Group of the Competition Commission of India.
