Philips launches Monroe

Philips India Ltd has launched its latest home cinema package, Monroe. The product would be available in premier consumer electronics showrooms in the coming months at a price of around Rs 2.5 lakh.

The package is powered by a digital audio/video surround receiver and a surround power output of 500 W. According to company sources the product is specially designed to meet the needs of the avid movie lovers in India.

The company has blended the latest technology of sound, light and visual to bring the cinema experience to the consumers in the comfort of their living rooms. This includes, a projector, a cinema speaker system, the digital video-disk player with 3D sound.

The mega machine is provided with a menu navigator rotary knob and a powerful and efficient remote control system.
