Percept D’ Mark and Sahara to host Mrs India-World pageant in December

You are wrong if you believe marriage is a no-no to walk the ramp at a beauty pageant. You are welcome to aspire to be the next Aditi Gowatrikar – Mrs World 2001. All it takes is to take part in the Mrs India-World contest. This year’s beauty contest for the married ladies will be held in December 2004. In fact, India is also hosting the Mrs World contest in February 2005.

Brainchild of Percept D’ Mark – an entertainment solutions group, Mrs India-World event will be hosted at Sahara Amby Valley, Sahara Lake City. Mrs India-World will be the official face of India at the Mrs World pageant to be held in February 2005 at Amby Valley.

Along with Lt General Dr AS Rao, Director Worker, Sahara India Parivar and Abhijit Sarkar, Head, Corporate Communications, Sahara India Parivar, Percept D’ Mark will launch the event in Mumbai. Accompanying them will be David Marmel, President of Mrs America and Mrs World Inc, Julie Templeton, Mrs America 2005 and Aditi Gowatrikar, Mrs World 2001.

“India is making its presence felt globally – right from Bollywood to fashion and entertainment. For us, this is a step forward in this direction. We are proud to bring this prestigious pageant to India, and be the first country in Asia to host Mrs World,” said Preeta Sukhantkar, President, Percept D’ Mark – Fashion.

Sahara India Parivar is proud to host an event of such grandeur, scale and dignity in India. As Sarkar says, “We are celebrating the true essence of a woman through this event. We are very happy to be hosting this event.”
